It started as a small history of a little town • and it simply got way out of hand!

All three Dotters brothers served in and survived a war. Don and Ansel served in WWII and Bill served in Korea. Ansel’s family moved to Porterville in 1952, raising his family and sharing in the meteoric growth of a special community.

Memories of this town are harbored now all around the country.
