Remembering Jerry Lewis Walker

This was a man unlike any other. But everybody says that. So how would you know?

The Walker confidence started early. When his parents were both killed in a train wreck ~ and he survived ~ he was adopted by a loving family.

He was a very athletic, highly engaged, highly intelligent and an intuitively ethical man ~ always making so much more out of what always seemed to be so much less. But this was Jerry’s World.

So many of us were warmed by being in it ~ and now we very much miss that world.

Part One ~ The Early Years. Jerry had other years, too, but these were his first.
